Carolynne has been the driving force behind the new car and has been instrumental in bringing the team together. She brings a wide range of skills and experience to the project. She rebuilt her first engine at the age of nine. Carolynne lived and worked in the United States for over fourteen years. She owned and operated a Solar Energy company whose office was two miles from the famous drag strip at Pomona in California. This gave her an opportunity to observe the very best in the sport. Her career has been divided almost equally between engineering and marketing.

Unusually, she has both art and science qualifications. For several years, she worked with Knut Soderquist, building race-trailer facilities for his championship winning top-fuel dragsters. This has given her valuable insight into the back-up and plant that it takes to tour successfully with a leading edge racing team.

On the marketing side, Carolynne has an extensive portfolio of marketing design work and has been both Marketing and Managing Director for FMCG companies.

David and Carolynne have financed the entire project to this point. This includes the completed car and rocket systems, the race transporter and all the equipment required to fuel and run the car safely and professionally.
